CREDIT CONTROL & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Lead the development, implementation and review of Credit Control Standard Operating Procedures
  2. Ensure the credit control function is set up professionally and in accordance with International credit control standards
  3. Monitor all patients credit status on daily basis and take necessary action
  4. Assess the credit worthiness of insurances and corporates before getting into credit agreements
  5. Verify claims before they are dispatched to ensure accuracy and ensure they are dispatched within set timelines
  6. Ensure credit services are offered within the set scheme rules
  7. Ensure credit accounts are reconciled in real time
  8. Ensure receivable accounts are updated in real time and collections done within set timelines
  9. Identify the causes of claims rejections from Insurances and corporates and work with the relevant units to correct the errors
  10. Receive updates from insurances and corporates on changes in scheme rules and organize for communication to the registration and billing staff in real time
  11. Propose writing off of unrecoverable debts with justification.
  12. Ensure the hospital meets all credit and debt collection statutory regulations set by Government agencies
  13. Liaise with the Legal Officer in entering into and enforcing credit agreements
  14. Prepare communication to accounts managers of any relevant changes in Hospital services e.g., addition of services
  15. Bring on board credit worthy partners for business growth
  16. Work with relevant Hospital teams teams to conduct business development activities e.g., Outreach activities,
  17. Develop relevant content for marketing campaigns e.g., on social media

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s Degree
  2. 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy Hospital
  3. Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills

CLINICAL OFFICER

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Participate in development, implementation and review of Standard Operating procedures
  2. History taking and examination of patients
  3. Conducting physical examinations of patients
  4. Prescribing diagnostic examinations for patients
  5. Reviewing results of diagnostic investigations undertaken by patients and making diagnosis
  6. Prescription of medication and any other management required
  7. Admitting patients who require further specialized care in the Inpatient units
  8. Booking patients requiring Consultant’s review
  9. Performing procedures within scope
  10. Liaising with all teams, clinical and non-clinical in holistic patient management
  11. Conducting and promoting healthcare education of patients, guardians and relatives
  12. Mentoring junior colleagues
  13. Participating in training programs and CMEs
  14. Promoting and practicing infection control and safety policies
  15. Participating and contributing to the growth and development of the Hospital

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  1. Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery
  2. 2 years’ experience in a busy hospital setting
  3. Valid COC retention and practice licenses
  4. Proven knowledge and experience in HIV/TB Management
  5. Valid BLS/ACLS certification
  6. Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  7. Computer proficient
  8. Good interpersonal skills

NURSING OFFICER

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Participate in development, implementation and review of Standard Operating Procedures.
  2. Triage all patients as required and queue patients as per their needs and urgency.
  3. Complete head to toe assessment and re-assessment of patients to identify their care needs.
  4. Develop written care plans based on patients’ needs, monitor effectiveness and make reviews as necessary.
  5. Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
  6. Assist Doctors in various procedures as necessary and within Nursing scope.
  7. Prepare patients for admission, diagnostic investigations, procedures, discharge etc.
  8. Collect specimens including sputum, stool, urine and ensure correct labeling.
  9. Brief Doctors on status of patients for correct and timely decision making.
  10. Identify patient and family education needs and implement appropriate teaching.
  11. Provide psychological support to the patient and relatives.
  12. Assist patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing and dressing.
  13. Ensure the unit is stocked with supplies and equipment to attend to general and emergency cases.
  14. Be accountable for judicious and efficient use of all resources.
  15. Follow laid down hazardous and other waste disposal techniques.
  16. Participate in data collection and monitoring of identified unit based quality indicators.
  17. Participate in or initiate emergency codes when necessary.
  18. Participate in internal CMEs both departmental and with other disciplines.
  19. Ensure excellent customer relations management to all clients.
  20. Thorough handover when changing shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  1. BSN/KRCHN holding a valid practicing license from NCK.
  2. Valid BLS certification.
  3. Minimum of 1 year experience in a busy hospital.
  4. Good communication (written and verbal) skills.
