CREDIT CONTROL & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development, implementation and review of Credit Control Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure the credit control function is set up professionally and in accordance with International credit control standards
- Monitor all patients credit status on daily basis and take necessary action
- Assess the credit worthiness of insurances and corporates before getting into credit agreements
- Verify claims before they are dispatched to ensure accuracy and ensure they are dispatched within set timelines
- Ensure credit services are offered within the set scheme rules
- Ensure credit accounts are reconciled in real time
- Ensure receivable accounts are updated in real time and collections done within set timelines
- Identify the causes of claims rejections from Insurances and corporates and work with the relevant units to correct the errors
- Receive updates from insurances and corporates on changes in scheme rules and organize for communication to the registration and billing staff in real time
- Propose writing off of unrecoverable debts with justification.
- Ensure the hospital meets all credit and debt collection statutory regulations set by Government agencies
- Liaise with the Legal Officer in entering into and enforcing credit agreements
- Prepare communication to accounts managers of any relevant changes in Hospital services e.g., addition of services
- Bring on board credit worthy partners for business growth
- Work with relevant Hospital teams teams to conduct business development activities e.g., Outreach activities,
- Develop relevant content for marketing campaigns e.g., on social media
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy Hospital
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills

CLINICAL OFFICER
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in development, implementation and review of Standard Operating procedures
- History taking and examination of patients
- Conducting physical examinations of patients
- Prescribing diagnostic examinations for patients
- Reviewing results of diagnostic investigations undertaken by patients and making diagnosis
- Prescription of medication and any other management required
- Admitting patients who require further specialized care in the Inpatient units
- Booking patients requiring Consultant’s review
- Performing procedures within scope
- Liaising with all teams, clinical and non-clinical in holistic patient management
- Conducting and promoting healthcare education of patients, guardians and relatives
- Mentoring junior colleagues
- Participating in training programs and CMEs
- Promoting and practicing infection control and safety policies
- Participating and contributing to the growth and development of the Hospital
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery
- 2 years’ experience in a busy hospital setting
- Valid COC retention and practice licenses
- Proven knowledge and experience in HIV/TB Management
- Valid BLS/ACLS certification
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Computer proficient
- Good interpersonal skills

NURSING OFFICER
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in development, implementation and review of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Triage all patients as required and queue patients as per their needs and urgency.
- Complete head to toe assessment and re-assessment of patients to identify their care needs.
- Develop written care plans based on patients’ needs, monitor effectiveness and make reviews as necessary.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist Doctors in various procedures as necessary and within Nursing scope.
- Prepare patients for admission, diagnostic investigations, procedures, discharge etc.
- Collect specimens including sputum, stool, urine and ensure correct labeling.
- Brief Doctors on status of patients for correct and timely decision making.
- Identify patient and family education needs and implement appropriate teaching.
- Provide psychological support to the patient and relatives.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing and dressing.
- Ensure the unit is stocked with supplies and equipment to attend to general and emergency cases.
- Be accountable for judicious and efficient use of all resources.
- Follow laid down hazardous and other waste disposal techniques.
- Participate in data collection and monitoring of identified unit based quality indicators.
- Participate in or initiate emergency codes when necessary.
- Participate in internal CMEs both departmental and with other disciplines.
- Ensure excellent customer relations management to all clients.
- Thorough handover when changing shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- BSN/KRCHN holding a valid practicing license from NCK.
- Valid BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a busy hospital.
- Good communication (written and verbal) skills.
