This is a funded unit at the hospital that caters for All HIV & TB patients. It is a private unit that ensures patient comfort and confidentiality due to the nature of their condition. Comprehensive Care Clinic services include but not limited to;
- Free consultation,
- Free Viral Load Testing
- Free Medications For all clients accessing care within the facility
The unit is run by a qualified doctor with the support of clinicians, nurses and other support staff. We currently have over 3000 patients on Care and ART Therapy. Comprehensive Care Clinic is based on patient numbers.ie numbers Tested within the Facility and Tested. Our Source Clients are from HTS Testing sites within the facility, located at screening tent, room 1 OPD, and tent Adjacent to the lab.
We also serve Mothers diagnosed to be HIV Positives/PMTCs at the ANC Clinic. Mothers are followed up from pregnancy to delivery. The babies, if negative are monitored up to 2 years old. If positive, they are enrolled in the Comprehensive Care Clinic clinic for care.
